Superman Is Coming Back

It's official: Superman is coming to a theater near you, but don't get too excited yet. It won't open in until December 2012.

Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder officially announced that Henry Cavill, the 27 year old star of the Showtime show "The Tudors" and the lead actor in the upcoming movie "Immortals", to be the next man of steel. Smart move for the studio to pick someone young as they can continue to use Cavill in the upcoming Superman movies.

Below is the official release from Warner Bros:
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that Henry Cavill has won the coveted role of Superman, the iconic superhero.
The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who stated, “In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen. I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.”
Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Deborah Snyder are the producers of the film. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers.

Scream 4 Trailer

It has been 10 years since Wes Craven's last Scream movie and now he is ready for part 4. Scream 4 is scheduled to be released on April 15, 2011. Below is a brief description of the movie:
Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
Yes, that's right, Scream is back with the usual Scream cast as they revive their roles in the movie. Here is the official movie trailer for Scream 4:

X-Men: First Class Cast Revealed

Below is the official photo of the cast of X-Men: First Class in '60s era costume from the waist up. I think the costumes are pretty "blah". The photo looks like a fake due to the resemblance to a doctored picture, but it is legit. MSN released the photo before FOX was able to and have since taken off the photo from their site.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actors are:

From left to right: Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Bryne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost aka the White Queen, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as the Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme aka Mystigue, and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.

Don't be late. The first class starts on June 3, 2011.
