Since the year is coming to a close in a matter of weeks, it is only fitting to mention the moneymaker of 2010. Toy Story 3 is the highest grossing film of 2010. I have seen all three of the movies and liked part 3 the best. The plot revolves around Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends. They are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college. While it cost Pixar about $200 million to make Toy Story 3, the investment was well spent as it grossed over one billion dollars worldwide. Here are the figures broken down for Toy Story 3:
